That's about the depth that I see with that stuff John. On a side note, Bill have you ever had a client test this stuff to determine if asbestos was actually present?

I've tried to burn that stuff - no way, at least not the samples I've taken. I just call it shredded wood insulation.
There'd be no reason to add asbestos. It is a fireproofed wood product.

Damn I mis-spoke with my question sorry about that Bill. I realize now that it was coated with a fire retardant.
