What's your local climate like, how long do you want the roof cover to last and how much are you willing to spend on the new cover?

Please to not demand that you get information immediately. It is complex question involving many considerations.

You should try to be a little polite, then we can help you.

These roofs are pretty good and you could probably do it yourself with the help of your friends. That's about as immediate as I can get at the moment.

The roof is tied for first at being the most important part of the home. It is the first line of defense against the elements beating out siding and even windows. Because an improperly-installed roof will have a detrimental effect on the structure and seal of the home.
Roof design in any culture calls for the blocking and diverting of water away from the home's structure. Gravity shares the major responsibility for this along with the shape of the roof and the materials used for its make-up. Once the water leaves the roof then it is the job of the gutter system to collect it and lead divert it to an area where it cannot enter the structure.

There are a number of things to consider when selecting a new roof system. Of course, cost and durability head the list, but aesthetics and architectural style are important, too. The right roof system for your home or building is one that balances these five considerations. The following roofing products commonly are used for steep-slope structures.

Seems like you are in over your head. Are you designing by the consensus of your friends? Spend some money and hire an architect and a contractor to assist you.

Does architectural style count as two?
