So not exactly on the subject of building inspections, but... does anyone know what the process is if say your plumbing and electrical permits have expired (a long time ago) ...rough-ins were inspected and passed, but never got the finals?

around here the city sends the permittee a $215 fine for each expired craft permit

Go to the permit counter and ask what the process is for renewing or reinstating permits. It's different everywhere you go, but there's always a process.
