After I struggled through this crawlspace I felt like I had really accomplished something. One of the tightest squeezes ever. So I decided to capture the moment for all to share.

Yeah, but it's a bit like watching a documentary on climbing Everest. I'm always more impressed with the guys who had to lug the camera gear around.

Uh, no, that would be the watery, muddy, puddle-filled crawl space I crawled around for about 20 minutes before finding clumps of used toilet paper. (Seller: "whadaya mean plumbing problem?")

I've had a couple of those in the past two weeks. Ugh!

My clients are very appreciative and respectfully acknowledge why I charge a substantial extra fee for crawl spaces.

Generally not a "lot" of crawl spaces in our market and there are many inspectors who refuse to do the inspection because of them.

I just don't do them for free.

Mark, was that floor girder treated?

I was under one not quite that short, but was fraught with spot damage due to time's passage and slow leaks.

Occupant was about 270 lbs and walked with a pronounced limp.

While down there I kept hearing her lurch back and forth as the timbers creaked and shook.

Was I ever glad to leave.
