Yeah, it was kind of brain dead for something that looks like it holds some promise.
I think liquid applied foams and membranes only make sense; whether or not this is the one, I don't know.

A large commercial roof is an expensive item. I think I'd shy away from experimental products on an application like that.
Right now, we produce roofing membranes in highly controlled production facilities where every aspect of the process is monitored and continually adjusted to produce a uniform product with very tight tolerances. It's hard to imagine how field personnel can produce a product of similar quality out there in the open with portable equipment and constantly varying environmental conditions.
