I did not think much about this until I got home. I'm calling for removal but they will need a Sawzall to get it out from under the house. The house had to have been built over it. 1950-ish

Looks like a fender there with a headlight opening in it.

Hi,

Yeah, those are Packard fenders but from something between '52 and '54 - mine's a '58.

The car didn't do anything wrong but the crawl was half damp and half rain forest. Some serious crawl space moisture control is needed so the car has to go.

Someone installed a plastic curtain across half the crawl space and I will post, "A Tale of Two Crawl Spaces," soon.
