Is there a particular name for this style of slate roof? Extra shingles were intentionally broken and installed in a random pattern. Made it difficult to inspect the roof.

Bizarre comes to mind. I've never seen anything remotely similar. I think LSD was invented in the 40's. I wonder if there's a connection.

It's a bad attempt at imitating the "ragged butt" style slate roof.
