|
Stop the sink drain up, put a half gallon of bleach in the sink and then fill it up and let it run into the overflow to kill whatever is growing in there. Let it sit for an hour or so and flush it out.

Mike is correct, something is probably trapped under the bowl in the overflow.
If that does not fix it, let us know.
