Looking for decoder info for an Appollo water heater S#895413751. I thought there was a chart in the Library; however, i could not locate it. Has it been removed or renamed?

Thank You Bryan

I have the chart and "Appollo" is not on it. My guess would be 1989.

OK, first thing y'all do is take one of the Ps out of Appollo. It's Apollo.

Second, not to be a smartass, but in my longish HI career, if I couldn't discern the age of a water heater, I just wrote that into the report, usually with a comment something like: "It'll let you know when it dies."

Water heater age is not mission-critical info.

I believe Apollo is a division of State enterprise, thereby making the second and third digits the year. First digit is usually a letter denoting the month with State though, so I may be wrong.

I would guess 1989 by the info you provided. Is there any other info on the tag (such as an ANSI date) that may help narrow it down?
