I did an inspection on a house that was a few years old. The house had some cracks in the foundation wall with one leaking water. The homeowner decided to make corrections themselves by using Mighty Putty. Yes, the "Does It All - Build, Restore, Repair!" putty.

For those that are getting excited about using this product to repair water leaks at the foundation wall, it doesn't work.

I don't think the sellers were happy with me when I laughed out loud every time I thought about that crack.

I don't know about Mighty Putty but my kid was happy when Mighty Pens came out.

If you yell at it while it cures like Billy does, It works just fine.
Kind of like low tech radio frequency gluing.

Hi,

I bought the exact same product at the orange box for half the price and used it to install a component on the inside of the tailgate hatch door on my wife's beamer so I wouldn't have to drill any holes. It worked fine.

When I worked for the Orange Box we called it plumbers epoxy. It's been around for years. It does have some great applications. I don't know about making handles for coffee cups though.
J B Weld is another great project for mending metal etc. http://jbweld.net/products/index.php

That's why you need the ShamWow, to clean up all those coffee spills. (Are you following me?) After all, we all spend $20 bucks a month on paper towels, right?

Frank

BTW, I just booked my first inspection for the year. Hopefully this will start a trend so I won't have to watch those irritating commercials.
