Jerry Simon
I'm not an appliance guy by any means. Regardless, at a condo the other day. . . When the refrigerator door was opened and then closed, it *gurgled*. The fridge didn't wobble, but each and every time the door was opened then closed, same momentary gurgle. Didn't do it with the freezer side door. Anybody?

Les
Sub-zeros have a drain in the bottom of the ref section that often will fill to capacity and "gurgle" when opening door. The freezers don't have that drain. Those drain lines are always nasty.
Marc
I've had the same sound happen when I open the freezer door. Never could figure it out. Marc

inspector57
Pressure change when the door is closed due to rapidly cooling air shrinking and sucking air through the drain. Might be a dirty or partially clogged drain.
