Neal Lewis
Mike, I inspected that house about 7 years ago. There's quartersawn chestnut everywhere in the house. There are no lally columns in the basement. All poured concrete load bearing walls in the basement. It's not a great looking house, but the materials are most impressive. Needed a lot of work when I saw it. I'd love to see the period kitchen. It was a seventies type kitchen when I saw it, with holes in the ceiling. One of the few houses that he built for a friend or relative. The Stickley compound/museum is about 5 miles from there.
