  1. I used to get to work like this. 60 of your best friends...youll see
  2. well you took the wind out of Toms and my responses. If those things are Silo's. We use them to identify a town with a bar, when traveling through the prairies. 3 Silo's=Booze
  3. How tall and what do you put in them,,the city boy asked Tom you beat me to it...
  4. Its not the heights, its the ladder.
  5. I stand corrected.
  6. and no one has yet to mention coulomb as itself
  7. When I read your post, I felt that 'time' should be included in your definition. But it is yours singular. I don’t mean anything other then trying to add. My definition of an ampere ‘is a measure of an electric charge passing a point per unit time.’ So as to help in further qualifying your definition. Or I go back to the hockey game, and shut up. mongo
  8. gonna add my 2 cents cdn. I just went thru all this a few weeks ago. Of course your lawyer is the final word, but keep that appointment. He is gonna cost you at least 200. Worth every penny. He is going to listen to you ask him questions for that, be prepared, make a list, make that list, bring that list...after you speak with him make a new list. Take this list to your accountant. Do this soon after the lawyer visit. Tell him what you want to do. My Business is going to evolve from sole proprietorship to LLC. Tax laws change here in Canada for corporations. For the bettter. In time my plan will work. Good luck to you make the list
  9. Close but no cigar. One volt is the electromotive force required to create a current of one ampere through a resistance of one ohm. It results in the dissipation of 1 watt of power. Marc Marc, I agree, although you should mention 'time' in your equation.
  10. Place an ice cube on an insulated glass pane and leave it there for 30 seconds or so, and then wipe the window dry. If you see condensation on the other side of the glass, the seal between the two panes of glass has failed. You can do something similar with an upside down can of compressed air. Warning: this will allow you to find seals that have failed but that have not yet fogged. Others will argue about the results. - Jim Katen, Oregon Scott, I am a newbie as well and was puzzling over the Ice Cube Test all morning. Great question, and the response was cool as well, pun intended
