Mike That one has an electric element that comes on at about 16 degrees above zero but still has a COP of around 2 when it does. That's still good. One problem is finding a tech who's familiar with it, can diagnose it and properly charge it. Heck, many techs around here have trouble explaining the very basics of thermodynamics!
