Bill Kibbel
An "inverted cone" would look like an ice cream cone. A cone-shaped roof, like those that are common to Queen Anne style homes, is a conical roof. Colloquially referred to as a "witches hat" roof. allseason
Yes, I meant cone shaped. I shouldn't have had all that cough syrup for breakfast.
wedgren
I usually refer to that type of roof as a Turret Roof .
Bill Kibbel
I usually refer to that type of roof as a Turret Roof . Turret is not a roof style, but some turrets have conical roofs.
