Steven Hockstein
Best Buy is having a midnight sale. This seems like a good deal for a basic laptop computer: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Gateway++La ... Id=3590335 What do you think?
kurt
You spend way more than that to get a decent smartphone. It's 'puter as commodity.
Tom Raymond
Uh, at this stage of the game computers should be commodities. They have no shelf life. And little half life for that matter. The only thing that retains value is your data, and that's questionable. It's a pretty good deal. You will have to put up with some annoying pre-loaded crap, and at least three antivirus programs that all vying for your upgrade dollars. But the same is true of a machine that costs 3 times that. Marc
Everything looks good on it....except it's a 64 bit. I've heard the 64 bit processors had compatibility issues on lots of applications including 3d inspection software. I use a 32 bit equivalent to the one in the OP.
