Jerry Simon
I don't know if I can do this here or not; if not, feel free to delete my post. I've decided to part with my vast collection of old house books; plumbing catalogs from the 1890's, carpentry books from the same era, electrical books, etc. I got hundreds of 'em, and just put the first one on ebay. Here's the link if anyone's interested; a 1911 Bungalow Construction Book. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bungalo ... 1c23182b00 Again, if this in inappropriate, lemme know or simply delete. Inspectorjoe
That's an interesting book. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have available. Your starting bid seems kind of high. I found two available online for $50. http://www.amazon.com/Construction-dwel ... 252&sr=1-2 http://www.abebooks.com/Construction-dw ... 2138524/bd

I just put this old carpentry book up; priced a bit better. It's from 1890. http://www.ebay.com/itm/120847904421?ss ... 1558.l2649

That's the way the chips fall sometime. In 1992 I bought a set of 9 Moravian engravings at an estate auction for for $270. Last year I decided to sell them. A local collectible 'expert' has a national call-in show Whatcha got. I asked what they were worth now. I didn't like his answer - less than half of what I paid for them. I just put this old carpentry book up; priced a bit better. It's from 1890. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0847904421 You just got your first bid. AHI in AR
Off topic: The bungalow book was written by a fellow named Urias Dustman. Can't say I've ever heard the name Urias before.
