Bryan Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Good morning all. Has anyone here taken the EDI level 1 or 2 seminars, and did you find it to be worth while training?
Scottpat Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 EDI at one time was the best training you could get for EIFS and moisture inspections several years back. I took their class and held a membership for many years in their organization. I think they still offer good information but their pricing seems to be extremely high.
kurt Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Yes. They approach the issues as if it's complicated on a level comparable to nuclear vessel containment, or something. The principles are relatively simple, the methods are not complicated, and the materials are best understood by going on job sites and looking. The price just doesn't equate to the information obtained. I mean, Joe is free to anyone that cares to read about it. There's a mountain of credible research available for free.
Bryan Posted October 24, 2012 Author Report Posted October 24, 2012 Thanks for the response gentlemen.
