Robert Jones
Different type of wall heater for me today. Biosmart(Therapeutic Infrared Heat). According to the manufacturer it's supposed to relieve pain in aching joints. Didn't notice the difference after I left... In all seriousness. Does anyone have an idea of coverage area for these fancy green heaters? Biomsart
kurt
I'd guess the same as any electric heat...about 10 - 14 watts per square foot.
John Kogel
Here's their handy calculator for figuring it out. I'm not in the mood myself. [] http://www.biosmartsolutions.com/upload ... 000f_0.pdf It's a simple wall heater with a higher than average price, I'd say. They are talking far infrared ceramic heater like it's some kind of miracle product. Copper ion generation panels? Yes, heat makes you feel better. It works! Heat transmits by convection, conduction and radiation. There are differences between the three but that's it. It's about fooling consumers and making money.
