Robert Jones
Not a lot of stucco siding in my area. Are these cracks from a 9 year old home anything to be alarmed about? Click to Enlarge 33.72 KB Click to Enlarge 41.32 KB
hausdok
Nope, Crazing is expected in 3-coat stucco and those cracks don't change the way the stucco performs. Anything they do to try and conceal those will make them more visible. Best to leave them alone. Get more information about crazing on the Stucco Manufacturer's Association site. http://www.stuccomfgassoc.com ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! ejager
Looking at this as a learning opportunity: How did you determine this was three coat stucco? What would have been your response to these cracks if it was EIFS? Thanks in advance. This site is a constant source of great information.
