Mark P
Move to Miami and employ an illegal Cuban immigrant to hold a hair dryer on your pipes at night.
Les
For me it is not very difficult to avoid frozen pipes. I have extrodinary vision and can usually spot them several blocks away. I try to stay out of their line-of-sight and scurry away the other direction. If this tactic does not work, I may just run as fast as I can directly away from them. Frozen pipes should not be approached by children or the infirm. This works for me, but others may find it too much exercise.
Jim Baird
When you get a Mr. Slushy or something like it, be careful not to pull too hard on the straw, else you get frozen pipes (windpipes, that is).
John Kogel
Bagpipes are best if they are kept frozen.
