Mike Lamb Posted July 20, 2013 Report Share Posted July 20, 2013 Chicago is in the middle or end of a terrific heat wave and air conditioners have been running nonstop. At first I thought there was some kind of leak at the air-conditioning condensate but it turns out the water is coming from the combustion air concentric supply pipe for a Cat IV furnace. I'm guessing humidity and condensation is being drawn in and leaking on top of the furnace but it does seem odd. Any comments on this?
