ishayley
We just had a home inspection that faulted us for having open breaker spaces in the main electrical panel. I though having open spaces was fine - it allowed room to intall new circuits. Any one know the rule/code on this one for PA?
Jim Katen
We just had a home inspection that faulted us for having open breaker spaces in the main electrical panel. I though having open spaces was fine - it allowed room to intall new circuits. Any one know the rule/code on this one for PA? The issue isn't that the spaces are unused, it's that there are openings there that someone can stick a finger into. Go buy some blank breaker port covers. Bill Kibbel
Having space for additional breakers is fine. You probably have unused openings that need to be capped with filler plates. http://www.hardwarestore.com/breaker-fi ... 19045.aspx
