gtblum
How about sharing this on your FB page, so some of us can share it with folks who would never dream of having an inspection on a new / newer home.
Marc
I count 3, maybe 4: Stub outs should be rigid and secured Exposed NM S trap Dishwasher high loop What did I miss? I left out escutcheons because it isn't a wall stub out. Marc

Over 8,000 inspections, and hands-down, not even a contest, worst home I ever did was brand spanking new (half-mil $ house). You'd think I was making it up if I told you the first few items I saw. Jim Katen
. . . Dishwasher connection downstream of trap. The high loop is probably built in to the dishwasher, most come with one factory installed. Doesn't matter. The instructions still require one at the discharge point. The idea isn't to prevent stuff from flowing back into the dishwasher so much as to prevent stuff from flowing into the first few feet of the hose, where stuff can fester.
