The Elio is front wheel drive. Don't ask me why. They say you will still need to wear a helmet in some states.

IF they could keep the price low enough to make it an equitable solution for a commuter rig, I'd buy one. That, and I'd need to be sure there's enough acceleration to get out of other people's way.

He's trying to keep the price below $7G, and this thing can do 100 mph without leaving the road, so they say.

But there's no luggage space, hence the trailer/cum ladder with a luggage box attachment maybe.
