John Kogel
http://www.gizmag.com/elio-motors-84-mp ... pictures#8 I just need to build a ladder rack for it. Maybe the ladder will have wheels and a trailer hitch. [] Click to Enlarge 64.49 KB
Marc
It looks like a tryke with a body on it. I'm guessing the crash worthiness was thrown to the wind. Marc
Nolan Kienitz
Similar 3-wheel format as the CanAm Spyder products ... CanAm Spyder
John Kogel
The Elio is front wheel drive. Don't ask me why. They say you will still need to wear a helmet in some states.
kurt
Why not just stand in the highway jumping in front of cars? Wouldn't it give the same result?
gtblum
Why not just stand in the highway jumping in front of cars? Wouldn't it give the same result? Yup! The grown up version of the "Frogger" video game!
Brandon Whitmore
IF they could keep the price low enough to make it an equitable solution for a commuter rig, I'd buy one. That, and I'd need to be sure there's enough acceleration to get out of other people's way.

That, and I'd need to be sure there's enough acceleration to get out of other people's way, just like on my motorcycles. He's trying to keep the price below $7G, and this thing can do 100 mph without leaving the road, so they say. But there's no luggage space, hence the trailer/cum ladder with a luggage box attachment maybe.
