slinger2k Posted September 21, 2005 Report Share Posted September 21, 2005 Creative bath exhaust fan installation - tough to see....Harry Homeowner teed a standpipe for his clothes washer (no trap, mind you) into the main sewer line, then plumbed an exhaust fan "pipe" into the standpipe top. He said his wife was complaining that it always smelled like "he just used the toilet" when she did the laundry. He couldn't figure out why.
