Tom Raymond Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 A Superior Court Judge has found 3 companies liable for $1.15 billion in damages for the clean up of lead based paint and in the process declared 5 million homes across the State a Public Nuisance. Only a government would provide man power and a $30,000 XRF for that little scratch. At 50% compliance that's $160 each. I expect at least a dozen positions, you know, for efficiency. Worse than that, the really crazy regulations the rest of us have to live with get exported from Cali.

John Kogel Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 There's going to be an appeal, and after that more appeals, and the whole thing will just turn in to a free-for-all for LA lawyers. Paid for by tax payers and the consumers that have to buy paint. []
