BADAIR Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 1st for me watch vid https://www.dropbox.com/s/5oqd508k6u1ksvh/H2O%20pulsation.MPG?dl=0 any ideas of the cause & cure when sillcock was not obstructed by the multiple gauges i carry, flow was constant, no pulsation, flow or pressure loss when either sillcock or multiple fixtures were operated wasn't going to try & move their lg turbowash and try at the laundry bib 2008 closed loop pex manifold system with prv & expansion tank present static pressure is generally within the 40~80psi as required & most properties i've done in this area are ok
Jim Katen Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 I believe that bib has a vacuum breaker built in. If so, it's misbehaving. If they notice a problem with it in actual use, they could always just swap out the bib for a new one.
inspector57 Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 I've seen it before but I have no definitive answer as to the cause. I also suspect it is a misbehaving vacuum breaker at the hose bib. It reacts too quickly for it to be anything very far upstream.
Nolan Kienitz Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 Not an issue ... it's a "feature" or "enhancement" [^]
