Brian G
Ye gods. Note to the plumber: How art thou stupid, let me count the ways. [:-dunce] Brian G. When Do We Hit Bottom? [:-crazy]
Jim Katen
I see that kind of thing a lot more now that PEX is so ubiquitous around here. If you grab hold of the valve body, and twist, you can make them face any way you want. - Jim Katen, Oregon

Are you seeing it installed with the home runs to a manifold or like what I have.

PEX is just about the only distribution piping that they use in new construction around here. - Jim Katen, Oregon
Nolan Kienitz
No distribution panel means less cost to plumber/builder and ergo ... more $$ in their pocket. If only they would make dang sure they install all the fittings, connections properly and NOT use the products from the big box stores. charlieb
OR the bad Zurn fittings! Our local guys just slot the 2xs by the manifolds. No support for the piping or should I say the manifold. Builders get hot about ripping out cabinets to replace the 2xs[:-angel]
