Tom Raymond Posted May 31, 2008 Report Share Posted May 31, 2008 All of the shingles I have seen with a warranty of 30 years or more do not consider shingles a suitable underlayment, and will not warrant "roof overs". Also of interest, all of the major US shingle manufacturers have announced a whopping 30% price increase effective in June. If you need a roof, better do it this wekend.
