In the basement this guy had every type of wood working machine one would ever want. Only problem was that most were made in the 1920's! Or maybe a bulb encased in an old saltines tin perforated via a 12 gauge shotgun at an appropriate distance. As I see it, there was some skill and (dare I say it) engineering in your fancy-schmancy swing away light fixture! Of course, you have to ignore the wiring issues...
