StevenT
How old would you guess this boiler to be? Image Insert: 56.9 KB I'm feeling 40 years... more?
Jim Katen
The overall massing (shape) of boilers didn't change much from the '50s through the early '70s. This one could be anywhere in there. A close-up shot of the logo, gauge, etc might help to pin it down to a closer age. - Jim Katen, Oregon
Bill Kibbel
That's an American Boiler, manufactured in the late 1940s to early 1950s. The circulator was added later.
StevenT
WOW! Yes, it is an American. I was thinking early 60"s. I was only off twenty years... more than some boilers last. It still works just fine. Thanks.
Neal Lewis
Bill, you're saying that the original system was a gravity type instead of circulated. Isn't the piping kindof a small diameter for a gravity system?
Les
Bill is right. Late forties or early fifties. American.
