Chad Fabry
just finished, no baseboard yet. The other photo is in my yard, a winch that used to pull a lever on a windmill 800 feet away. The windmill pumped the water from the spring that's still in use to the house's second floor cistern where it was gravity fed through the home's first floor. It's slow at work today. Chad Fabry
yep, the tin's real. It's not appropriate for my house (neither is the mission bookcase) but I needed a "donor" room for door casing, window casing and baseboard so the rest of the house will be as original as possible and still be livable. I got the tin from a place in Texas, including freight, crown, and seperator strip it works out to about 5 bucks a square foot...which was extravagant for me.
