Darren Posted March 25, 2009 Report Share Posted March 25, 2009 Built in 1993, 2 fan assisted furnaces along with a water heater are venting into a exterior chimney. Corrosion and staining indicates a problem. Someone figured the gases were condensing before exiting and came up with this (there's another one on the 2nd furnace).
