Paul MacLean
My inspection today. A strange one for Central Texas. Concrete block exterior walls with a 'rubberized stucco' finish. What's the finish material. Any and all opinions welcome. kurt
If memory serves, you can't have numbers or parentheses in the photo title(s). Change the name of the image, & they should post fine.

DonTx
Paul, probably applied a one coat stucco over the CMU's. For the life of me I can't remember what the type of coating is that your talking about although I see it quite often. Let me dig into my files and see if I can find the name. Seems like it's an expoxy type finish for stucco though. Looks like a 20 year shingle on the roof. Amazes me how builders spend money on some things and then scrimp on things like shingles. DonTx
Okay. If it's what I'm thinking of, it's like Sto's powerwall or powerflex system. It's made up of elastomeric polymers. It may or may not have silicone in it depending upon the brand and manufacturer. If you pick at it just a little, it will look like rubber or vinyl. You'd think you could peel it off if you tried. Danny Pritchard
Looks like it may be the same material they use on EIFS.You may try going to the Dryvit or Accucrete websites. Those are two of the more popular manufacurers of this material in my area. RobC
I'd guess Brown + Acrylic finish coat.

Paul MacLean
Thanks everyone! I'm going to pass your collected wisdom on the the buyer. I'm sure he is going the buy the house. This place wasn't built to standards and had a lot of electrical and plumbing issues. I wouldn't spend my money here; but then, it's not my money.
