rlottig
The main distribution panel is mounted below the electric meter directly behind the AC at the exterior. Clearance of only 1 foot to walk behind the AC. The home was built in the 1950's. The electric service was updated in the late 90's. What exactly are the clearance requirements for exterior mounted panel boxes?

It sounds as if the AC installer chose a poor location for the condensing unit. - Jim Katen, Oregon Download Attachment: 34 ClearancesAroundServiceEquip.jpg 160.94 KB
