  1. It is the only return in an open floor plan. The second floor has returns in the bedrooms.
  2. The supply plenum extends at least 6" on either side of the heating unit cabinet to accommodate a higher efficient Click to Enlarge 39.14 KB a-coil. I don't see how the airflow will move across the entire coil. Is there a limit or ratio between the two?
  3. Home was built in 1986, designed and built for the only first flor return air register to be within 10' of a wood burning fireplace. I don't have the code book which was in place at that time, however everything after states "return-air inlets shall not be located within 10' of any appliance firebox in the same room". Was there a way the builder could have gotten around this? How could this be repaired with a home on a slab. Click to Enlarge 38.7 KB
  4. Any ideas on this sub-panel? Why install a jumper between the top lugs? What does the NEC say for horse barns a electrical installed. Is it all required Click to Enlarge 61.15 KB to be in conduit.
