    Thanks guys, that's what I thought, The roof was to steep to be on. All I could see with bins. was a clay liner with repair work to the brickwork.

    Hi Guys, first timer here. These pics. are from a house built in 1951. The chimney is exposed in the kitchen and has been painted. Can someone tell me what these growths or build-ups are? There is some large (brick size) pieces of paint coming loose as well. OKAY,,,,,Iv'e modified the pics,,so I hope they open now.
