I have a lift for my 18' boat that is operated electrically, 110 vlts, with a toggle switch for up or down movement. The system has a motor mounted in the top of the lift, and the motor has a ground wire that goes down to a surface grounding rod that is 4 ft. in the groung. Recently, a person in the water touched one of the lifting rails and felt a light shock. I want to do whatever possible and needed to insure that no on is injured by shock. Any info and ideas will be appreciated. Thanks, Greenhornet
