Hi Jim, Made in the USA is fine, actually it is not where it is made but how it is made which is the problem. Their website looks good but seems to be orientated twords wood more than building surveying. I will look for a local distributor. Thanks, Amanda

Hi I am new to this forum, I am from the UK and am working in Malaysia for a few years. In the UK we used Protimeter and so I recommended them to the company I am working for now. When we received the shipment, instead of coming from Protimeter it came from Jabil factory in China. My college looked them up and I was a bit surprised and embarrassed that they are made in a sweatshop http://goodelectronics.org/news-en/us-o ... and-others Can anyone suggest a good alternative? The company wants to send them back.
