  1. We have a contract on a 2 year old home. The inspection revealed alarming foundation issues. Significant offsets, piers not centered on main beams. Multiple areas in crawl space. Vertical support posts out of level. Concrete block cracking from pier cap failure, two piers, shim compression, improper placement on several piers. I have attached images from inspection. My question is...should we move forward, getting bids for repair? Is this common and relatively easy to fix? Or should we run?
