  1. New furnace owner
    My furnace is newly installed in August. It has this ‘salting’issue and rusting on the gas elbows. The installer replaced the vent pipe on the roof, but I noticed that it is not above the peak of the roof. Mentioned it and was told it would be ok. Can I continue to run the furnace? Faint whiff of gas around the chamber where the ignition chamber is.
