I have seen a fair amount of information about crawl spaces in northern areas. However, there doesn't seem to be much regarding crawl spaces in the south, particularly Florida, when built on piers or pilings. Should the floor be insulated (apparently yes, based on this article) and should there be a moisture barrier installed on the underside to prevent exterior moisture from entering the living space?
