Fireplace doors

It happens to me and I though it was the the fireplace door having the problem. Sounds like it is burning a bit dirty could be from lack of air or the flue is not drafting enough. but I agree this is a bit quick to have that amount of soot and it is not only on the glass it is all over that fire box and your venting.
