For a hydromessage bathtub can you use a stranded wire for your bonding in the 2005 code? I have the 2008 code with me but need to know what the 05 code said. Anyone? Here is the part of the 08 reference... 680.74 Bonding. All metal piping systems and all grounded metal parts in contact with the circulating water shall be bonded together using a solid copper bonding jumper, what's the 05 code say?

As an Electrical Inspector I'd require them fix it, most overcurrent devices have a strip gauge on the device itself. That much CU showing would be a violation of the manufacturer installation instructions.
