    West System is great to work with but don't play with the hardener ratio. Use the Cabosil for filler. First coat, thin the epoxy for greater penetration. West System's website has has the recipe. Read up on multiple coats and sanding between or applying 2nd coat prior to "blush". Don't forget Epoxy is not UV stable and must be coated/painted. US Composites has equivalent materials if you find West is getting pricey. The advice is worth what you paid for it and comes from a guy who ENJOYS playing with old boats.
