  1. Another option you could look at would be a passive system which ties right into your existing water heater gas or electric.Benifits no moving parts, no pumps gravity fed. Down side not quite as efficient doen't circulate the water just preheats it into waterheater. Tom (link removed)
  2. Here in Phoenix arizona we use alot of the radiant barrier sheets that reflect up to 97% of the heat in the attic. We have used the reflective paint that reflects arround 70% but only last about 5 years before needing to be redone. Tom http://www.sunriseenergynow.com

  4. I think these new heat pump water heaters will only be effective is a few market areas across the country. In Phoenix the solar water heaters are the most effective way to go. http://www.sunriseenergynow.com
