Sometimes it can be hard to find something to set the monitor on especially if the house is vacant. The only concern with the tri pod is a dog tipping it over, it seems like everyone has a dog. Darren Posted August 13, 2008 Report Share Posted August 13, 2008 I have those plastic 'milk' crates you can get at Staples. They're about 16 inches tall. I put the carrying case (about 7 inches tall) on top of the crate and bingo. With animals, the best you can do is tell the owner the machine will show a tilt, so please keep the animals away.
