  1. Mike, That link points to a log in for Windows Live, user ID required.
  2. In the Central Florida area, there are 10's of thousands of homes with PB installed. We call it out, explain all the issues, give links to more info, etc. etc. Hard for most clients to complain about it if the house they're selling has it, and everyone they know also has it. Most every client will just accept it and wait for the failure. Around here, with plumbing problems so prevalent, you can have your house re-plumbed in a day for $2500. I have family members with PB installed, and some have had no problems, some have had minor problems, and some just don't seem to care at all about their plumbing. I had my plumbing replaced with CPVC years ago. I'm sure "I told you so" isn't too far off. Dom.
  3. Hey, it's your identity someone may steal, keep typing away if you want. [] I say err on the side of caution.
  4. I would definitely NOT ignore it. Norton probably picked up a symptom of the Trojan, which is to create a file (randomly named), and that is what set off your scanner. These backdoor Trojans can collect keystrokes, or data entered in any program, and send it to who-knows-where, all without your knowledge. Some Trojans reside in a special partition (that they create) on your drive. Tough to remove… I had a similar Trojan warning and really didn’t want to gamble. No aware or spyware removal would help. Even with firewalls, up-to date antivirus, (Norton), spyware blockers, hardware this and that, I can’t be worrying about data loss and identity theft. So I formatted and reloaded, (yes, giant pain) and no more warning. Dom.
  5. Jeff, The Protimeter Mini is a pin probe only meter, no sub-surface scan feature. You will really come to like the Protimeter SM. Bite the bullet and order one, you simply won't be disappointed. Actually, I'm surprised a pro like yourself doesn't already own one. Dom.
  6. Don, I attempt to view all coils, simply because they are frequently clogged and dirty. Typically the blower is full of heavy accumulations also. Can't say much about your photo if that's the output side. As you probably know, a clogged/dirty coil will give a high temp. difference. Sometimes removing the coil to clean it and the cabinet can cost several hundred dollars, and risk damage when reconnecting. It may be smarter to replace an aging AHU. Dom. 7. Don, Windows XP comes with a basic fax program. You need to add it via the control panel (Add Windows Components). One of the better stand alone programs is WinFax. Dom.
