  1. Thank you, thank you very much.
  2. Thank you guys. [:-thumbu]
  3. I read that when the power is turned on then that's what that means. If a wire was contacting it then wouldn't you get the same reading when it's off. Like touch hood with left hand, stove with right, then collapse on floor.
  4. Never seen one of these before. Click to Enlarge 32.76 KB
  5. What's it mean again when the stove hood lights up the sensor whether the power is on or off? Click to Enlarge 34.96 KB
  6. Just behind the exterior main is the sub panel in the interior side. It should still be treated as a sub panel even when that close, right? Click to Enlarge 42.48 KB Click to Enlarge 32.52 KB Click to Enlarge 55.21 KB And the POS out back had this. Even this close it should still be set up as a sub panel, yeh? 7. I do carry a backup. Those two photos are in the same house. I went back and forth twice to be sure the tester was not at fault. Two or three outlets had that weak right light. Mfg home. Thanks everyone.
  8. Same house. Sometimes my jippo tester barely shows a light on the far right, yet at other outlets its bright. Sometimes the far right is completely out. What's that all about? Click to Enlarge 34.55 KB Click to Enlarge 24.19 KB

  10. When I was starring at it all I was thinking the boiler hot water was going directly into the large tank, duh. That seemed dumb. Then I couldn't figure out how that pipe mess was going on there. Realizing there is a heat exchanger in there makes it come together. Thanks Kurt. It's terrific that you guys are so helpful.
  11. Thank Kurt. [:-thumbu]
  12. OK, I know nothing about this stuff. The hot water for the house and floor heat seems to be all out of the same boiler. Only fault I see is that the TPR drains have some uphill portions. The rest I be ignant on. See any problems. The old, 2004 boiler was replaced in 2011. Click to Enlarge 43.16 KB Click to Enlarge 61.67 KB Click to Enlarge 47.56 KB
  13. Why's a mechanical vent wrong? Should be air admittance cause the spring will belly up? They are in a zillion mfg homes.
  14. Yep, but would that make a difference?[:-monkeyd
  15. Perhaps a buffoon placed it there.
  16. Here's the back side. Is it possible that the hot wire is in there, but not connected to the screw and is touching the box? Click to Enlarge 28.37 KB

  20. Sheesh. I think you hit the head on the nail. And I haven't sent the report out yet. Thanks Jim. Click to Enlarge 59.44 KB Some day I'll learn to read the labels too. [:-paperba[:-paperba
  21. I think that stranded copper was the grounding electrode conductor. It went into flexible metal conduit.
  22. Udda man Marc. I missed that pare down deal! [:-paperba

  25. I drove 250 miles each way so I used the POS ladder that my son had rat-holed. Drove our Mazda gas miser that way.
